Product and total price
A lifetime Premium unlock
The standard total price is €3.99 EUR, paid once. When checkout clearly displays a limited promotion, that lower displayed amount is the final total. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, delivery charge, or other PocketPilot surcharge. Where tax is due, it is included in the displayed total.
Premium unlocks app favorites and folders, selectable picture modes, native iOS and Android keyboard input for ordinary PC text fields, and visual themes. PocketPilot's core remote remains available without Premium.
Premium includes optional PocketPilot: Anywhere internet access for every Premium user. You choose whether to enable it.
“Lifetime” means that the issued key does not expire and remains accepted by compatible PocketPilot releases. It is not a promise that every future operating system, device, or third-party service will remain compatible forever.
Premium internet access
PocketPilot: Anywhere — availability and use
Available to every Premium user with PocketPilot 1.4.0 or later. Activate your Premium key, choose PocketPilot Anywhere in Overview, and enable internet connections. No approval from PocketPilot, registration file, or separate account is needed. These terms do not enable connections without your choice or change an existing purchase retrospectively.
Anywhere is optional. Your PC and phone or tablet connect outbound to PocketPilot's relay; router port forwarding and a separate VPN app are not needed. The Windows PC must remain awake, online, running a supported release, and have active Premium. Each mobile device requires approval on that PC. You may use it only on devices you own or have permission to control, for personal, non-commercial use.
No monthly or per-session data-volume cap. Speed, message-rate, and simultaneous-connection limits still apply; your internet or mobile provider may charge for data. The current service permits two simultaneous mobile devices per PC. Picture modes target 30 or 60 frames per second at up to 1280×720, depending on the mode. Actual frame rate may be lower depending on the PC, screen activity and connection; these are targets, not guaranteed performance. Audio, file transfer, waking an offline PC, and control of Windows lock or UAC screens are not provided.
The PC verifies Premium online and renews its short-lived Anywhere credentials automatically. No registration file or manual renewal is required. An extended verification outage can interrupt Anywhere once those credentials expire. Mobile connection tokens renew while connected; a device disconnected beyond its 24-hour token expiry needs a new QR invitation. This is separate from the Premium key, which does not expire. A lifetime software key is not a guarantee of uninterrupted relay operation or compatibility with every future network or device.
The relay may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, network conditions, or security incidents. Protective bandwidth and request limits prevent overload; unauthorized access, automation intended to exhaust shared capacity, credential sharing, and attempts to bypass device approval are not permitted. These limitations do not authorize arbitrary removal of purchased rights. Any material change to a paid service remains subject to applicable notice, conformity, and remedy requirements; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
Control messages and screen pictures are encrypted between devices, using fresh session keys for forward secrecy. The relay and its connection providers process connection metadata. Independent security review is pending; a compromised paired device or controller page can still expose access and content. Read the security limitations and Anywhere data handling before enabling it. Turning Anywhere off leaves the free local Wi-Fi mode available.
Ordering and payment
A clear payment obligation before approval
The checkout identifies the product, final price, seller, and payment obligation before you approve payment. PayPal processes PayPal payments and the PayPal-backed Apple Pay and Google Pay options when available. An order is completed only after PayPal confirms a successful capture for the exact price shown at checkout and PocketPilot issues the signed license.
If payment is cancelled, declined, pending, reversed, or cannot be independently verified, no usable Premium license is issued.
Digital delivery
The license is issued after verified payment
After verified payment, the signed Premium license is shown for copying or downloading. PocketPilot attempts a private copy using a usable payer email returned by the selected checkout provider. If checkout supplies none, the same verified browser may enter a delivery email. Delivery is reported only after the email provider accepts it.
When sent, the purchase email records the product, price, seller, order reference, delivery terms, and the buyer's immediate-delivery confirmation. Keep the email and license key with your purchase records.
Consumer rights and refunds
Immediate delivery requires an express confirmation
Before payment is enabled, one unselected confirmation asks an EU consumer both to expressly request delivery before the ordinary 14-day withdrawal period ends and to acknowledge that the withdrawal right is lost when delivery of the digital content begins. The accepted wording/version and time are recorded with the order.
This confirmation concerns delivery of the digital license key. It does not waive any separate statutory rights relating to an ongoing digital service such as Anywhere, or mandatory rights when digital content or services are faulty, unavailable, or not as described. Submit a refund or withdrawal request through the online support form and include the PayPal order or transaction reference.
Requests are reviewed against the original transaction and applicable consumer law. An approved refund is returned through the original PayPal transaction. Submitting a request does not itself refund the payment or revoke a license.
Activation and recovery
One active computer installation
The key may be used with PocketPilot under its personal, non-commercial software license. It binds to the first protected Windows or macOS installation that proves possession of its locally generated device identity. A copied key cannot activate a second installation. Windows and Mac are separate installations; a Windows activation does not also activate a Mac.
The Mac download requires macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon and is not Developer ID signed or Apple-notarized. Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions are needed for the corresponding controls. Supported features and operating-system restrictions differ; review Mac setup and current limitations before purchasing.
Premium requires an online first activation. Updated PocketPilot releases request a signed 7-day activation lease that periodically renews against PocketPilot's webhook-maintained payment record. During the compatibility rollout, older releases that do not support the new lease version continue receiving legacy 30-day leases and must update before legacy issuance is retired. If the protected local activation identity is lost through an app-data reset, Windows reinstall, disk loss, or similar local-state loss, the installation can no longer prove the original binding. The current product provides no self-service transfer or reset.
Refunds, reversals, and disputes can prevent renewal and may end permission to use Premium.
Payment and privacy
PocketPilot never receives complete card details
PayPal handles payment credentials. PocketPilot stores only the records needed to verify and support the purchase: PayPal order and capture references, payment status, consent version and time, license issuance details, transactional-email delivery state, and the public identifier of the first activated installation.
The payer email returned by the selected checkout provider, or a license-delivery email the buyer explicitly enters after verified payment, may be passed to the configured transactional email provider but is not persisted in PocketPilot's payment database or used for marketing. Read the complete website privacy notice.
Contact and applicable rights
Mandatory consumer protection remains in place
These terms are governed by Austrian law without removing any mandatory consumer protection that applies in the consumer's country of residence. If any term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
