POCKETPILOT PROPRIETARY PERSONAL-USE LICENSE

This license applies to the original portions of the PocketPilot software,
user interface, documentation, and other materials authored for PocketPilot
(the “Software”). Third-party materials are excluded and remain governed by
their respective licenses, as described in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.

1. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Christian Tchobansky retains all right,
title, and interest in and to the Software, including all copyrights and other
intellectual-property rights in the original portions of the Software.

2. Personal-use permission

A lawful recipient may install and use unmodified copies of the Software on
personally controlled devices for private, non-commercial purposes. A
reasonable number of backup copies may be made solely for that use.

3. Restrictions

Except with prior written permission from Christian Tchobansky, you may not:

- sell, rent, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the Software;
- use the Software or any part of it for a commercial service or product;
- remove, conceal, or alter copyright, attribution, or license notices;
- copy or adapt the Software except as expressly permitted above; or
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the
  limited extent that applicable law expressly prohibits this restriction.

No trademark rights or rights to the PocketPilot name or branding are granted.

4. Third-party materials

Open-source libraries and other third-party components bundled
with or used by the Software are not relicensed under this license. Their own
license terms and attribution requirements continue to apply.

5. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you materially violate its terms. On
termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the Software, except
for copies that applicable law requires you to retain.

6. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED
“AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
CHRISTIAN TCHOBANSKY IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

By installing, copying, or using the Software, you acknowledge these terms.

Paid Premium features and optional PocketPilot: Anywhere are also described at
https://pocket-pilot.net/premium-terms. Anywhere is included for every Premium
user with version 1.4.0 or later. Enable it deliberately and approve each phone
on your PC.
Nothing in this software license excludes mandatory consumer rights for paid
digital content or services, including rights when they are faulty, unavailable
or not as described.
